I am looking at getting the Pro Comp ES9000 shocks for my truck. Has anyone had any experience with these good or bad??
I do not want to spend an arm and a leg because the truck is mostly driven on the highway and not lifted or anything.
Factory ride height 4X4 with factory shocks on it now.
you honestly dont need shocks like that for a daily driver. my uncle has a 150 4x4 and he drives his truck to go huntin. he has monroe-matics from autozone, they work fine and are inexpensive. i have the same ones on my truck. as long as you arent doing any extreme offroading or heavy haulin, stuff like monroe should work fine
Well I just recently replace my shock I had monroe shocks but my brother works at ford and he recommended rancho shocks because they work both ways and they come stock on the new F-150. And so far it feels real good a difference on these shocks also I recommend a tire balance if u get new ones.
I have had 3 different trucks that i have had ranchos on( i put on new) and was unhappy with their **** poor performance. I swapped them out w WARN, SKYJACKER and BILSTEIN and have gotten way better ride every time. If i were to buy any truck that had them on, they would be gone by the first tank of gas
