Column Saver help...

Column Saver help...
Can anyone point me to where I can get a column saver for my '64. I found one site, but the parts were listed for a '53-'56 truck..would that work? Better yet, does anyone know the ID of the column and OD of the shaft so I can make one (I'd like to have this part in hand at the time I cut the old sterring box off)?? TIA

This makes the actual column smaller in diameter than what was used '61 and later.
I couldn't find the I.D. of the mast jacket, but maybe the following will help.
2-C3DZ-3517-A .. 1964 F100/250 Steering Column upper & lower bearing = 1 7/16" O.D. / 1" I.D.
2-B1AZ-3518-A .. Upper/lower bearing retainer = .75" I.D. / .98" O.D.
