Can anyone point me to where I can get a column saver for my '64. I found one site, but the parts were listed for a '53-'56 truck..would that work? Better yet, does anyone know the ID of the column and OD of the shaft so I can make one (I'd like to have this part in hand at the time I cut the old sterring box off)?? TIA
A bushing/bearing that goes around the shaft and then slides inside the column to keep the shaft centered when connecting to a U-joint/intermediate shaft combo that in turn connects to the R & P steering on an IFS.

1953/56 = the shift tube is on the outside of the steering column, not inside it.
This makes the actual column smaller in diameter than what was used '61 and later.
I couldn't find the I.D. of the mast jacket, but maybe the following will help.
I had to make one for mine when I did the Toyo box swap. If I remember right ID is 2 and a 1/8". Duplicated what everyone sells for the earlier trucks. I will upload pics in my gallery.
