Casey you can leave the other lights out until you get the headlight adjusted just right. Actually what I would do is just installed the lower turn signals and not the corner or chrome bucket. That way you are still legal with turn signals but can get to everythings. The only issue that will raise it you won't know how the lights look in relation to the chrome buckets.

Strokethis96 I have not seen the smoke lights anywhere. They came out shortly after I installed mine. My lights were ebay units and I am happy with them for the most part. I think they need a bit more fine tuning to lineup with the rest of the lights.

Question Ideas

Any ideas on how to get a better seal on these lights so no water gets and if it does how can you get it out?

No idea on sealing them. Mine have been fine so far. You might be able to use some clear silicone on where the lense and the housing meet but you will have to be very careful as to not make a mess. Also make sure the seal on the headlight bulbs are properly seated.

I would try just putting a good bead of silicone sealer around where the two half's of the plastic and make sure the seal for the headlight bulb is good and seals tight. I've heard of people putting the lights in an oven, to get the plastic joints soft, and pressing the half's together better, but that sounds tricky to me.

Taste like chicken???

Put some masking or painters tape on there and silicone them. That way you don't make a mess.

I would like to get a hold of the basics here. How do you get the lenses off of the headlight assys? Any links here to a procedure?

Well the lens and backing is all one piece or assembly. They are not suppose to come apart. I think you can only buy the whole assembly.

Really? So to replace the front lens cover, you have to replace the whole assy? Wow, I can see the screwheads on the bottom, I just cat figure out how to get to them. But if you can't but just a new lens, than it's wasted time...

This might be a little off topic, but not really. How can one clean the outside lense cover? Mine are starting to turn yellowish. I remember reading about using turtle wax or something of that nature to get them looking good and clean again.

I just did mine the other night with Plastic Polish for Motorcycle windshields. There is a cleaner that is sold that will actually "polish/clean" the surface prior to protecting it with the Polish, akin to buffing compound for paint. I use to use it on the windscreen of my Goldwing. You can buy the pair in any motorcycle shop.

I bought a pair of euro head lights and the euro blinker lights for my 92 f350 off ebay. I have had no problems with them. I used the adjusters off of my old lights and had no problems. 3m make a plastic cleaner for head lights. works really well just be sure to keep rubbing until the polish feels like water!
