Headlight bulbs

I lost my drivers side low beam today. I was wondering what yall reccomend as far as a good bright bulb. NONE OF THOSE CHEESEY BLUE ONES. The ones that are in there are good and bright I dunno what they are though the PO installed them.

I use NAPA replacement bulbs. I don't recall if they're labeled as "Bright" or anything. They have an OEM replacement and a brighter version. I use the brighter version. I have no problems with them.

I can't remember what it's called, but there is a headlight upgrade that is available. I believe it increases the amount of amps or volts available to the headlights, creating a brighter beam.

Napa carries Wagner Trueview bulbs. They seem pretty good. They do have a blue coating but don't look blue in the headlights or light color. Also what Craig said is true about the mod. The stock wiring going to the headlights is too small and doesn't allow full voltage to the bulbs so the mod has two relays and heavier wiring to bring more voltage to the bulbs. I have tested this with jumper wires and there is a noticeable difference look at the lights. Not sure about driving but every bit helps

The HID conversion is really not that hard. The silverstars are known to burn out quickly and are expensive. The HIDs will outlast the truck.

the hids you have to put in another relay to supply the power the hids need... as for me the silverstars have been in my truck for going on a year now... and they are fine... but that is just me.. and the hids i have heard of ppl getting tickets for them being to bright... but it is your pick...
