360FE was the only engine offered in 73-77 F250 4x4s. The bad thing is that 390s share the same block and heads and are impossible to determine visually from a 360. The only way to tell without disassembling the motor is pull a spark plug with the piston at BDC and use a CLEAN dowell or something to measure the length. Post your findings.

Thats deffinately a FE engine. 360 390 410? Very tough to say. Merc used 390s and 410s in the mid 60s (C4 and C5 part numbers) 360s were factory and were only offered in 73-76 Ford trucks I think.
Without checking a smart man would say 390. Ford made millions of them and they were cheap. It was also a very common swap.
