Hook timing light to #1 spark plug wire (front plug on passenger side).
Start engine (RPM does not matter, 600-1200).
Loosen hold down bolt.
Look at the pointer/mark with timing light.
Turn distributor and set at 10* BTDC.
Tighten hold down bolt.
Recheck timing mark.
Put SPOUT back again and observe computer advance of 5-20 degrees.
Shut off engine and remove light.
