i need help
when i first got my truck it made a metal grinding/ ratchet type of sound when i would be in 4x4 low, and punch the gas. so i thought it was coming from the d44. but last week i started working on a house at the top of a long steep drive way, and it started making the same sound when i would punch the gas going up the hill, mostly in 2 but also a little in third, 2 wheel hi. But to day on my way home it started doing it really bad in all gears.
I have no idea what it could be, the clutch is good, it dont feel like any of the gears are broken, but I can feel something in the shifter when it makes the noise. It seem to me like it is in the front of the truck. i guess???
