I just wanted to share an idea that when implimented looks great. I bought a set of the cheap 100.00 tail lights off ebay and found out that the two brake light ports in the assembly were not both functionable. One was a dummie port so I made a template traced and dremelled for a while so a second light could be added. I went to a scrap yard and bought the wire harness and the socket for 10 bucks. Now each tailight has two brake light bulbs. I purchased some of the spray tint off ebay and tinted my tailights and third brake light and it looks way better than expected. The spray tint is easy to use but I highly recommend trying it on something less inportant, for example my riding lawn mower now has a tinted headlight inwhich also looks bad ***. There is only one more thing to improve what I did and that would be led light bulbs....next on the list. Dan
i took a 4"round light usually used on tractor trailers. i cut the back of myb tail light and then fabbed them in. i then cut the hole for the 3157 led bulb s that i have as a brake and turn light in the top portion of the housing.
you can just buy after market LED altezza style Taillights for the X now.. Stylingconcepts has them i they are like 200 bucks, thier is a few different styles too
