ok so i gonna black out my tail lights today. im gonna do it the cheap spray can way. i have a pin hole in each tail light so until i get new ones it will get the cheap treatment.
so my question is how many have done this and what did u use?
ive been looking for the rustoleum lens tint buy nobody around here seems to carry it so im gonna end up going with the VHT lens tint. i know people say the spray can treatment doesn't hold up well but it shouldnt be longer than like 2 months till i get new tails
i was just browsing today and came across this thread! this might be a little late (like a year later) lol but if you are still wanting to do it, i definitely recommend it! I just did it on my truck to my tail lights and signals because they have the original 1999 orange lights (bleh!) i got rust-oleum lens paint from autozone. took out my signal and tail lamps, taped them up, cleaned em off, and put a thick layer of black on. They've been on for a week or so through rain and dust and dirt and bugs and they still look great! i will post a pic as soon as I get the chance if your still interested.
