Got done with lifting my Explorer and getting new tires on it and made time to look at the Super Booty.
Unplugged the fuel heater bowl, replaced the fuse and it didn't pop. Started right up, even took it down and washed it. Man you guys really saved me a bunch of time and cash... Thank you very much. Still have to get the replacement part and all but this is awesome.
Even my wife asked me to thank you guys. Between my Jeep and now this Explorer I just bought I'm always finding a way to spend money, so this was a very good and lucky break.
Looks like a good start to the new year. Congrats on the fix.
BTW, the fuel get's heated in the fuel rails in the cylinder head before it even gets to the injectors, so I'm not so sure you even need that bowl heater. Unless it's to thaw out some frozen water that somehow got into the fuel supply.
