83 F250 460 starting problem

It will start and then stop running and will not start for a period of time. I get no spark from the coil to the distributor. I have two ignition modules and they checked out okay and seem not to be the problem as I swap them out and it will still not start. New coil, not the problem, new starter as well. Any ideas?? After a period of time it will start again and run fine. Could it be the starter relay??? I am very frustrated and need help.....

Have you replaced the coil cable? Had same problem with vehicle which would start cold but once it was shut off when hot, it would not start until it cooled. Coil cable fixed it.
