I put a 4.6L and 4R70W transmission from a 1995 T-bird in my 1948F-1. I used a wiring harness from {thedetailzone.com}. It had all the connectors for all sensors on the engine and transmission, plus ac/heating connectors. It was pricey but after I pulled all the wires out of the T-bird I though it was very reasonable. We made our own gas tank and installed the fuel pump and sending unit from the T-bird also. I took a lot of time but in the end worked out just fine. We used the computer from the T-bird with this harness. Some of the painless harness's had the computer and cost more. If you only need a harness for the 4R70W transmission check out {becontrols.com}.
