The Revo's are awesome... without a doubt, THE best tires I've ever owned (and I'm hard on tires). In the size you mentioned (275/65-18), Bridgestone doesnt make a D or E load rating (wish they would!), so that might leave the Revo's out for you. I just put a set of AT/S's in that size on an F-250 and am impressed with their performance on the snow -- and thats virtually the same tread as the Silent Armor.
As for the BFG's... I'd pass if it were me. Thats the only tire I've ever hydroplaned on (3 times in 4 months) in 22 years of driving. Trust me, hydroplaning in an Excursion is NOT a fun ride!!! They absolutely sucked on mountain trails also. The Revo's completely solved both those problems.
