I had the center seat stealthbox in my 99 (haven't had the time to mount it in my 07 yet). After I burned up two JL Audio subs in aout a year and a half I decided to try something else. I ended up putting an Image Dynamics IDQ 10d2v2 in the stealthbox instead. The ID sub fit perfect and sounded much better than the JL Audio sub. It really hit hard in my 99 extended cab, and I don't think you would need much more than that. I was pushing it with an MTX 6152 with 150W at 4ohms.

When I finally get everything in my new truck I'll be pushing it with an Eclipse XA5000 with 300W at 4ohms. It should sound great (if only I can find the time).

I have the JL box in a 1999 7.3 super cab with a MacIntosh amp. People thing the sub is alot bigger than it is. Sounds real good!

i have a crew cab. i raised the rear seat 4 inches and moved it forward 4 inches. installed amp and capacitor under seat. put two 10inch jbl subs behind seat.

i put 3 12's behind seat, two amps and a big cap under seat of my crew cab .... didnt have to move the rear seat at all... just had to lose the under seat "rack"
