i have 2 kicker comp 12s... with a 1000 watt amp and a capacitor behing my seat and sacrificed alot of leg room tho... but i am 6'3'' and it is still pretty compfy... lol but i will get pics if you want em...
Check this one out. They are a little confused on their truck models, but I think that you install a kit to raise the rear seat and this goes under it.
I found a box on ebay and was able to fit a 12" Fosgate behind the pass seat with the amp mounted on a board behind the drivers seat. I replaced the rears with pioneer 6x8s and put Boston seperates in the front. There is plenty of highs, mids and bass. I think that 2 10's might sound better than the 12" though. There is not a lot of volume in the regular cabs.

I dont really wanan sacrifice the leg room. I'll figure somethin out. For now I think im just gonna replace the stock speakers.
i got 2 10" Phoenix gold subs behind my seat with a box that i made. the box is only 3" wide at the top and right around 5" at the bottom if i remember right. i built it to try to stay to the angle of the back of the seat. i put 4x6 pioneers in my doors and i put the amp for the subs under the passenger side of the seat. its easy to do if i can do it without messing it up!!! LoL!!!
I found a similar system at a pawnshop that was originally designed to fit under the hatch of a Camaro or Firebird. The box was angled from wide at the bottom to narrow on top, with an enclosure on each side. In the middle it was flat, which allowed me to install an 800w punch amp.
At first the box didn't fit especially well, I had to move the seat forward a couple of inches, and that wasn't very comfortable. I ended up cutting a notch across the bottom of the box which fit the small shelf above the floor of the cab. With the box notched, I was able to move the seat back far enough to be comfortable. The box held two 10" JL Audio subs. I ran the 5x7 (or whatever the size is in the pillars near the seat belt assemblies) Sony 2 ways, and Sony 6 1/2" round speakers in the doors. I used adhesive sound deadening on the sheet metal around the speakers, which made a big difference in sound while reducing road noise from my mud tires.
I have thought about removing the panels on each side of the rear seat in my ext. cab and cutting the sheet metal to fit subs that don't require a box. I know they don't sound as good but there is alot of unused room behind that panel.
i dont thin i'd have enough room for those subs or my 12's, they are really deep and the magnets will probably get stuck to the outer body. my 6x9's hit the cab corner as is
i'm replacing my 10's with 12's as soon as i find some 12's i want. i found some JL 12's for 125 bucks for both i just gotta call the guy to see if he still has them. he had them in a 4 door '96 or '97 ford F-250. i will ask him how he had them installed.
I put a Bazooka (6" subwoofer) that has a built in 100 watt amp. I too have a regular cab and it fits perfect behind the middle seat and ROCKS!! Im very happy with it and it doesnt dig into leg room but provides full sound. I got it from Crutzfelds(sp) for like $143.00 or something close to that.
