pod fill-in

when i got my ultra-lites this week, i had ordered a triple pod, but decided to leave off trans for now. i had a delima-what to put in the hole? my gauges were silver faced, so the place i boought them at gave me an extra silver bezel. now all i needed to do was put in something in the hole. IDEA- i trimmed the bottom of a mountain dew can(the silver dome on very bottom) to fit my hole. it looks great! cant hardly tell the diff! a spot of crazy glye, and i was good to go. i'll get pics tommorrow

it was gonna be so much trouble (in my book) to pull pan, and jb weld in the probe. so, for noe i'll leave it out. i got the big cooler, and synth. fluid. i'll add it later, but not now. so i filled it in

no pan dropping here! test port driver side. pull the plug, install the probe, run the wires, mount the gauge.

Drivers side, front just above the pan. There's a plug there. Pull it, install probe. Done.

Why would you want a mech temp gauge? Heck, I haven't seen one of those since way back.
