Trans temp Sender
Hey guys I bought a pillar pod with autometer pro comp silver face gauges and I need to get the senders for them, or can I use the factory senders for Water temp and oil temp. I also need a part number or info on the trans temp sender, I will be putting it in the test port on my 97 e4od.

Gauge didn't come with one? All that money for automater and they don't provide the senders? I think this is the one you need.

Your best bet would be to contact Autometer for sender part # . Ebay lists a bunch of senders, but in answer to your question, no you cannot use factory senders. You could also use a single pole double throw switch to use 2 senders to one temp gauge provided both senders are compatible with gauge.
