Hit or Miss
96 Ranger xlt 4.0 5 speed 117k -
My problem surfaced last week when I start it in the morning it would not fire just turned over normally so I turn key off and tried it again fired with a touch of the key, I noticed that when it would start I heard the whirling of the pump, so Wed. I installed a FP relay and all is well for a day, last night took kids to karate got in no start after a few attempts I heard the whirling and started right up. I would rather not give Ford or anyone else a end of year donation if you know what I mean. I thought I covered the obvious solution. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Once again I thank you all in advance.
