does any one know the name of this movie??? all i can remeber is there are creatures that live in the woods, a blind girl finds out they are fake and sets out at some point to get help or something after she finds out this. at the end of the movie she finds help and come to find out she lived in a town where the elders made up this whole thing to preserve their way of life. i hope someone has a clue to what im talking about its been driving me nuts and i cant think of the name to look it up.
yes you are both right thank you so very much my gf was about to kill me cuz i wouldnt shut up about it but it was bugging me so bad. i knew FTE would come threw again.
very true it had a very suspensful story going and then it was killed. its a mild enough movie i can watch it with the gf thou. she hates scary movies but i can usually talk her into something like this. i made her watch the hills have eyes with me, big mistake, she loved the movie but i sat up the whole night with her waking up every 5 min cuz she was having nitemares..lol
I like M. Night Shyamalan's movies. They are spooky and different at the same time. Remember "The Sixth Sense"? "Signs"? How about "Unbreakable"? And if you haven't seen "Lady In The Water", do.

Soooo..... Pinhead in "Hellraiser" might make her a little nervous?!?!
she wont even look at pin head. shes so bad she woke up to feed our son and one of those commercials for paranormal things was on a&e, she started yellin and cryin and thought i was watching a scary movie telling me to turn it off. lol i bout died laughing when the commercial was over and she looked at me and was like im sorry.
and yes i love M. Night Shyamalan's movies, the lady in the water was a very good one. i liked signs the best i think thou. mostly because of the whole concept of the aliens.

Yes, do!! Excellent movie!!
My daughter and I watched Saw III the other night and neither of us had any trouble sleeping afterwards. We laughed our butts off at Fargo!!! Very funny movie if your sense of humor is twisted enough!!
see thats my thoughts on all new "horror, scary " or whatever they call them these days Bunny. its more of a comedy to me then scary, but my gf hates anything thats along those lines. the sounds alone scare her...lol i think tonight imma try to get her to watch pet semetary, now theres a scary movie!!!!!

Maybe it would help if you guys watched the extra "how it was made" features,,, I know that she knows it's all fiction, but seeing how they do the special effects takes the edge off. That's what I did when my kids were little and they have never had any trouble with nightmares after watching scarey movies.
Pet Cemetary is another good one,, But as an avid Steven King fan, I prefer to read the book!! Although, his movies do dollow his books pretty closely, with the exception of the ending of Cujo.
Never seen The Hills Have Eyes, but wanted to. Wrong Turn may make her never want to go for a stroll in the woods again!! Ha! Ha!! Better keep her away from that one!! And Hostel was just pure gore,, and lots of it!!
What Lies Beneath is similar to Lady In The Water,, a great watch!! Try that one next. Not so much gore, but just a good, suspensful movie!!
