I tried to post some pics of the truck with my father and neither of us could get them posted. As soon as we hit edit it automatically kicked us off the hole thing and I mean everthing. Any ideas? We tried the instuctions given and no luck. Thanks Casey.
After you click on "User CP" on the blue bar and clicked on the "Edit Gallery" on the left side on the next page you should have gotten this widow:
Did you click on "Gallery" at the top of the purple box? If you did it should have taken you to the window with a form to fill in your gallery information. Click on "Create Gallery" under the form and it should take you to the window with the upload boxes.
well thanks for all the info. we tried to do it and we kept having to do the java stuff mentioned. and it was nerve racking, sooner have just been working on the truck. but we will look this over again and try agin this evening. thanks Casey
Holy smokes! They have changed something on the Edit Gallery pages! It locked up my screen, kicked me out of Explorer, almost looks like there is a virus on the page?!
JUST SAY NO! to all the Java stuff. The applette has a problem and will crash your computer. Start with the section mid page in Bobj"s post above that starts with "(browsers that do not support drag and drop...)
You will need to know where on your computer the pics reside and their names. Click the "browse" box and a directory tree will pop up, drill to your directory and file name, click on it so it is highlighted, hit upload. You can "browse" for up to 4 pix at a time, one in each browse box, before up loading if you want. Watch your file size tho, if you are using a high rez digital camera, you will need to edit down the picture size, screen rez, and or compression to reduce the file size then "save as" with a different name before uploading it to the gallery. I find resampling to picture size 600x800 pixels, 75 dpi resolution, and 50% jpg compression will reduce the file size dramatically yet still have a clear picture on screen.
If you don't know how to edit (resample) your pictures, PM me and I'll see if I can help.
I couldn't even get there, AX! As soon as the page loaded it popped up a "do you want to allow this yadda yadda yadda", the page froze, had to do the CNTRL-ALT-DEL thing to close IE. FTE needs to fix this, the Java thing has been a problem for a couple years at least.
