hey run my diesel 6.9 at idle today getting it ready for a 4x4 run to the glacier and it made like a missfire sound through the exhaust.. (full open exhaust) and i did a few donuts and reved it up a bit when it got to operating temp and it all went away... might have had some crud in my injector like you had or somthing... we will see how it performs tomarrow at high rpms, lots of idleing and bouncing around allot.

There could be a valve problem on the horizon Ray... well know signs are intake valve causes a woofing noise into the intake, the exhaust valve cause a popping/chuffing or crackle noise out the Tpipe.... Worn valves/guides or just a weak/broken spring can cause the noise.

performed flawlessly at the glacier offroad run today.. maybe it was cuase i started and shut it off like 3 times in a row and some fuel was catching fire in the exhaust pipe or somthing that day.
