If he is raising the cab, he could check the cups and use the special injector cup removal tool without removing the head. If he finds a bad cup. Pull the head and you're replacing head gaskets too. Might be trying to keep it simple and step by step. Going no deeper than needed. JMO.

If it is the injector cups shouldn't he be getting fuel in the coolant?

Well guys, I slipped over here from the 1994.5 to 1997 forum.HE,HE,HE James is a friend of mine. An I'm the low life that took him too Hawthorne's today to see my buddy that's the head psd mechanic there. I don't really know about the pricing of the job; but to me it didn't sound to bad.Considering what is involved in doing the job. I told him to check around on pricing.
