Hi,
This is my first post here. I have an '86 F150 with a 3" body lift and 35" tires. I would like to lower my truck back to it's stock height. What is the largest tire I can put on the truck without hitting anywhere. Also, since I never had a manual with the truck can someone please tell me the gas tank capacity. I have the single tank. One more question: What is the best way to restore a fiberglass cap that is badly sun faded?
P.S. I was going to sell this truck since I just took delivery of the Harley-Davidson F150 but I just can't seem to part with the 4X4. The new truck looks good but that's about all it's good for. It's definitely not a work truck and I can't even fit my Heritage in it.
I think you can get away with 32's ? Ive had 32 11 50 15's on my truck , lots of room in the back , but the front is close with that size , it wont hit anything with 32's . Tank capacity is in the 20 to 25 range ... not 100% sure , but I beleive its in that range .
That's wierd, my '82 SWB has a 17 gallon tank....
Wonder why the made them smaller?
