It was my driveshaft - it was out of balance because the internal U-joint had detereriorated. It only vibrated at a certain speed which happened to be about 73-80mph. It would crack the trans. but the fluid was circulating so it wouldn't actually leak out until the vehicle was stopped for awhile. New driveshaft and new junkyard trans. and everything is fine. I also picked up a factorytech kit which I highly recommend.

Thanks. I really hope thats it. Ill take it to a shop and have it rebalanced before I put in the new transmission. Which BTW I'm thinking of swapping for a manual one since I have to buy one anyways.
Very strange. I would go to a dealer and slip into to tranny area and pick the mechanics' brain a little bit. He is one of the few people that would know about it.

My thoughts exactly clem. Rep for coming back and posting your findings!
But I actually feel bad for not coming back and posting it right after I found the solution...guess I needed some break-in time to test though. The truck has made it from Arkansas to Atlanta to Chicago and back w/o any problems; so I guess it's fixed.
