Glasspacks always sound damned good.......you oughta up your exhaust to a 3 inch after the cat then put a 3 inch I/O on it and bring it out where you said with a Big Wazoo Tip........http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

That's the one I bought.....Later

Come on Guys . Unless you live in the same state as him dont just say to do this or that. He sound like a 16 yr old just starting out

At least when it comes to the removal of the CAT. I dont know his state . Heck even county to county r different. I live just 32 Miles from having to have all my Ride emmission inspected here in PA

He sounds well informed on his needs for his truck . Lets not Give him Bad info he is just starting out with this thing and does not need hassles $.

If you have inspections Ask your Local garage or another Local F-truck owner .If they say that its not needed or you don't have to emmision test then do it.

Even if 100 people get away with something you being the young one with loud exhaust the cops will be looking , the garages will be looking ETC ETC .

There CAts with the tube ports and there r tube kits out there. I used 2 tubes and mig ed them together.

I hope you sort it out and wish I could relive the first day with a new ride at school.

Good luck

When I 1st started to drive 2 school, whenever I had to give a girl a ride home, I always had a pos with me. She told me you drive this pos. I never had my mus when she asked. Lol Just my free 91 Civ Hatchback and an 88 Wrangler. Them were some funny cars. Gears popped out when it was cold and no heat and such.

I turned 16 yesterday. I get my license monday. I took my truck to one of my friends shop and we put the new flange up to the stock duals into a catco converter. Sounds AWESOME. I love the sound but its pretty loud and exits right under the cab. So im thinkin a muffler will sound even better. Ive been looking at flowmaster 40 3" on 2.5" duals out or something similar. What do you guys think?

Sounds like ya got what ya wanted ,a muffler will give it a deeper rumble, either way I think it will sound great, good luck and Congrats!, One more loyal Ford truck driver on the road, never be too many.
