Also, try not to purchase fuel/gasoline at a station that the fuel truck is dumping as the new dump churns up the fuel on the bottom of the tank and puts it in suspension. Wait at least until the next day or go some where else.

There is nothing wrong with asking the at the station when there last dump of fuel was.

Merry Xmas to all of you.

Roger

If you have grunge in your filter after running bio, its' the bio cleaning out the lines.

If you have some algee problems and run some clean and change filter. I would think a dose of bio would help get the extra's out also.

Another win for bio! $$

GL with the algee.

You could have pumped algated fuel right into your truck, for all you know. Or moisture built up on the filter and it grew there.
Algee can grow in streams with running water, I don't see why it coudln't in the filter.

Perhaps making some pop bottle batches and throwing the bio in as an addative will help clean things up, and the one link that was posted, Bio mix had best wear test.

Smile Thank You

Did a search on algea and found your posts , Bought my old F350 7.3 back and there was 90 gallons of fuel that had sat in the slip tank for 4 months from the summer. Did a full service and have never seen a dirtier fuel filter in my life with slimy grunge in the filter bowl. Now I know what it is and will try to find these products. I live in Canada so the names might be different.
Thanks Lil
