silverstars (replacement bulbs) are often recommended, and they are not hard to install.

though if you really want bright you'll need to do a full xenon upgrade - and that's a bit more involved

The left side bulb was a real pain to replace. The overflow tank for the radiator is in the way. If I do it again I will just remove the damn tank first and save my delicate fingers from damage.
