air bags

x( Can someone please tell me if it is safe when the air bag light goes on and stay`s on? i hit a deer and the air bag light came on! will they go off if i hit a bumpy road or a pot hole?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think that if your light is on it means the system has detected a problem and will not operate at all.

Check the disconnect switch on the passenger's side near the right kick panel; it might have been knocked or switched off. That will turn off your compressor and kicks on the chk susp light in the process. Happens a lot to me when I have a lot of gear on the floor, sometimes it accidently bumps the switch; in your case, yours might have been bumped.
