I have a 94 full size Bronco. I want to replace the dash switch, instead of pay the dealer AGAIN to do it. Last one lasted only two years. It can't be that hard, can it? Please help and thank you so much!
Un hook battery
Pop out 2 trim strips remove 2 screw behind them.
Pull out light switch use flat driver in slot press towards **** it should come off.
Pull carefully along top as the retaining prongs break easy.
The surround comes out far enough to work on .Use short srcewdriver to remove 2 screws and replace switch.
But for ease of install turn key (emergency brake) And move shifter to 1st (to let surround come out )
Pop plugs off back of window switch and electric 4x4 (if have)
Should come right out.
