extra part with return line kit

yeah so ive replaced my return line, caps, o-rings, and copper washers, for my injectors and the truck fired right up and starts and runs way better now.

but the kit also came with three bolts that have a "D" stamped into the head, one half inch o-ring(i think its just an extra), another o-ring that about 1 3/4 inch, and three rubber spacers/washers that are 1/4 inch thick.

am i missing something , are these parts for something else.
i can get a picture if noone knows what im talking about.
any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Where did you get the kit at?

Sounds to me like an IP install set: 3 bolts for the IP-to-gear housing, washers for each, and o-ring for the IP-to-gear housing.

Thats what I think it is anyways...

That may be the kit...... but there are no washers on the IP to gear bolts... 5/16 12point.

The large oring is to seal off the IP main body where it fits into the timing gear cover.....from the engine oil system cavity....... Air intrusion is only relevant to the fuel lines and sealed fuel system.........in general.

As for the bolts..... what is there now is doing the job of holding things together..... you can save them and use them next IP replacement if you wish. I just clean the threads on mine and reuse.........
