return line upgrade

I have heard of the return lines on the injectors being sealed by o-rings, and the o-rings sometimes leaking air into the system. I took a look at my return lines today and I saw that they were not sealed by o-rings. Instead, the return lines are black braided lines with little red steel hose clamps on them to seal them. Is this the upgraded return system? Or is this something somone did on their own? Thanks guys!!!!

the braided hoses connect to a connector on top of the injector.. this connector is plastic..have to take the injector line off..remove a oring on top of the injector then pull the connector off on top of the injector you will find two orings that seal the connector so it will not leak the return fuel.. if you have black braided hoses your truck had had this done at least once in its life.
