Tow Hooks Interchangeable?

Tow Hooks Interchangeable?
Does anyone know if the tow hooks for Pre 2000 SD's are interchangable with the 2001 and newer?
I know this sounds odd, but I don't have access to either truck currently and the local dealer has an odd selection of parts.
I have a 2001 Ex. My father has a 1999 F450. He doesn't have any tow hooks and wants mine, I was going to replace my black ones with chrome.
The dealer showed me the 2005(?) chrome hooks and they are different than my 2001's but I suspect I can make them work without too much issues, but I don't know if my 2001 hooks will fit on my fathers 99?
Any help greatly appreciated!!!

I put chrome hooks off of a harley davidson model on my 99, check to see what was the 1st year of the hd sd and those will work. the only issue i had was the old bolts were too short so i had to drive around without a front bumper for a couple of days until i could get the longer bolts for the new hooks.

I believe they are 05 chrome hooks. That is what I was planning on putting on my 01. If they fit your 99 then my 01's should work on the 99.
