I cant figure out what might be going on and I dont have a scanner to find out but the other night I was slowed down to about five miles an hour clicked my dp to 120 and hammered it. the motor felt like it went down to idle and through an ses light. This is the second time it has done it. When I first put my chip in my throttle felt really touchy and almost like it would want to stick wide open wjen i was really on it but it doesnt do that any more. I have had the chip for almost two years now. Its the old style rotator ****. I thought these trucks were recalled for this or something about the pedal but I dont know if mine was ever changed. Could it be my throttle pedal. I havent tried it in 80e. Its not over boost because the turbo hasnt even had a chance to spool up yet. It almost from a dead stop if I mash to the floor. Thanks guys
2001-2003 F-Series/Excursion Returns to Idle on Acceleration:
Some late 2001 trucks with the single connector accelerator pedal sensor, and 2002/03 trucks with non-adjustable pedals may return to idle on a hard acceleration. The check engine light may illuminate as well and code P0123 will be set. This is do to the computer receiving a too high accelerator pedal sensor voltage signal. This typically occurs when the pedal is held firmly against the floor. If this occurs and no problems are found, replace the accelerator pedal assembly with part number 1C3Z-9F836-BA. TSB 04-24-11
