Okay, so I had this bad HPOP leak, and after some investigation, found the rear plate on the hpop was leaking a pee stream out. So I got down there and pulled the little c-clip out and pulled the back plate off, and proceeded to the local ford dealership to hopefully find some parts and I am told it is not serviceable.
Short of replacing the HPOP is there anything anyone knows of in the way of a rebuild kit or seal kit. Keep in mind these are not the o-rings into the lines. Would I be better off checking into some Big oil, I really need some knowledge and opinions, My truck is currently stock, would I be okay going Big oil?
I can get a dealer replacement for $570.00. Did I hear correctly that Brian at BTS is now making a Big oil??, anyone running it??
Anyone can benefit from big oil. The pump is nonserviceable for us regular guys. Bob at Dieselsite is about to release a new pump. BTS has duals, Terminator has duals, Stealth is duals, and Swamps is a single. A lot to choose from.
You might want to call one of them. I would before I payed that kinda coin for a stock replacement.

We recently started offering flow testing and rebuilding of HPOPs. We can flow test your pump to tell you if it's functioning properly for $150. Obviously we'd have to re-seal it first and there would be no charge for that if you are having the flow test done.
We'll give you your numbers at several pressures. At least you'd know where you stood and your current leak would be fixed. Obviously if it's more than a seal, we'd know that on sight.
I'd send it bob. Since he offered to seal it up for you if you pay for the test. So you get 2 things. Your pump fixed, and it tested to know how well it works for future injector choice options... All for under what it would cost for a remaned from ebay
