I call my ins. co. knowing that it will be less than my deductible but they have a contract with the ins. co. so I get to pay reduced rates when I need a windshield as opposed to just calling them as a regular customer.

I haven't heard anything negative about quality of the glass, if that's what you mean.

I don't like the Safelight glass.....I've had them crack right under the rear view mirror. I had a strip of tint put on the top of windshield and noticed it then. In Arizona we still have the option of having full glass coverage on insurance.....ZERO deductible! So I get a new view about once a year, and I replace it with OEM glass.

Do a search for windshield or carlite. There was a pretty lengthy thread on windshields. I replaced mine earlier this year and went with the OEM Carlite. I would prefer not to use non-oem glass as it may lack in quality.
