as their daily driver? I got my tunes last night (Hybrid Race, Gen Econ, and Aggressive Tow) and have played with the hybrid race and it is a lot of fun. I put in the aggressive tow and really liked the way it performed, especially the shifting. It obviously doesnt run like a scalded cat but for an everyday tune i think it would be pretty good.
I am actually planning on loading it next week. I still have the older one (EGR off) but I want to see how it drives as a daily driver before I request the EGR on version. I want something that I dont have to switch out every time I hook up my TT. I am looking for good drivability and at least 15mpg. If it works out I will be hoping for 11.5 - 12mpg with it hooked to the trailer. I wont be able to give it a good tow test till FEB when I plan on doing a CA to LA tow. I have been running the GEN ECON and enjoy it as my daily but I cant tow 11k with it.
Have you tested the difference between the AGG TOW and the GEN ECON TOW; I am wondering the difference between the two due to the fact that they are both rated at 12k.
Consistant good mpg numbers aren't happening with the egr off files, and thru prelim testing, it appears the trucks get better mileage consistantly with them on(rather or not they are doing anything remains to be see, but having them running seems to be the key). I don't run my aggressive tow as a daily driver because I have the jake brake programmed into it and it's just a little too aggressive(the jake brake that is) for driving empty, when hooked up to something it's wonderful, but not empty.
