The short version of the this question is... Will the e-brake pedal assembly on a 1973 2wd F-250 interchange with the e-brake pedal assembly on a 1978 4x4 F-250?
The background is... I am halfway through the cab swap project with a '73 2wd f250 cab and `78 4x4 F250 chassis. I need to order the front e-brake cable, and I am under the assumption that I should order one for the 1978 4x4. But the 1973 2wd is a different part, and I would like to be sure that the '78 cable will fit in the '73 pedal assembly (I don't have the '78 assembly.) So the reason for the question, is I am not sure that the part# is different due to the chassis, or if it is different due to the pedal assembly, or both!
