Hi, I have a 2003 F150 4.2 V6 and just put the 2nd round of tires and wheels on. The reason was, I was getting BAD vibrations from my previous (16") tires & wheels aroung 50 mph and again at 70 mph.
So, I took it to many places to see if I could get it right and no luck so I figured well I'll get another set of tires & wheels this time (20") and quess what the same problem seems to be happening.
Anyone have any idea what may be causing my wheel vibration where the steering wheel shakes and you can feel it in the seat as well? Thanks
the first thing that comes to mind is ball joints, tie rod ends, and idler arm attachment. do you have any odd looking tire wear? with new tires, the first place to look is suspension, then drive shaft.
