well i searched on here but didnt see anything so im here asking.
has anyone else felt / heard a steering column vibration on their new truck?
i have a 2012 super crew ecoboost and about 50 mph and up on the highway i can hear and feel a vibration in the column. i have over sized tires but these came off my 11 f150 and it never had this issue with them. they are 33's on 18" wheels no that that large.
did the front get leveled? if it did, did the electrical get unplugged? theres a thread about what it is that needs to be unplugged when you lift or level. its so something don't brake if you leveled it and didn't do that thats the problem! wish i didn't sound like a babbling dumb @$$ but i have to look it up and show you.
I've experienced the same thing on an older, used vehicle that needed a front end alignment. When you got to a certain speed the wheel would basically vibrate out of your hand it was shaking so hard. Shouldn't happen on a brand new vehicle, but you never know.
