I have my old Kenwood CCD-2000 camera that the thieves didnt steal still installed. It's located on top of the hitch. It's pretty well hidden under the bumper, but it makes lining up a trailer almost too easy.
Nope the only thing that was recovered was my ID cards and checkbook. They were found the next day by an officer checking a residence just south of me for a wanted person. The ID cards and checkbook were in a small tool bag along with someone else's personal items as well. The tool bag was just laying in the yard of the residence the officer was checking.
Sorry to hear you had to get ripped of to get that stuff but it worked out for ya. Anyway is that the 08 & up factory Nav. unit or is it a Pioneer. I was looking at doing this mod for my truck but I am worried about buying a used on from someone on ebay for 1100.00 Anyway I am fortunate enough that my department provides me with a truck to drive. I am also lucky enough to have room in my shop to keep my truck. My ins. company told me that the superduty's are back on top of the list of most stolen trucks and with the 08's out I dont think that will change for a while.
Don't know how I missed this but the head unit is a Pioneer AVIC-D3. I'm not really that impressed with the navigation but the rest of the features are nice.
Anywho here are the part #s and price I paid at the time from directfordparts.com:

Is the head unit a 6 disc indash or just a single CD. I have the factory 6 disc but I wanted to add the Navigation. Like I sadi if I'm gonna pay 1100.00 for a used one I may as well buy new.
