CCV Mod Question

How do you guys seal off the original port into the intake, and what the heck is the little green line for?

Thanks.

Remove the CCV coupler and replace it with a piece of stainless 4" exhaust pipe. I used a 3" ID PVC coupler, but I do plan on putting in a piece of exhaust pipe when I get my hands on one.

I think it has something to do with being a vent for the controller for the waste gate, but not 100% sure.

Yeah, I believe it vents off boost to the intake when it's not needed to open the wastegate.

Hey I am not sure exactly what the GREEN line does, but it is down stream of the plastic piece you remove and replace with exhaust pipe. Looking back at some pictures of the PRE CCV mod, the green line is on the turbo side of the CCV. You just remove the plastic piece and simply install the 4 inch exhaust pipe or whatever material you choose to use, and hook the plastic intake tube back to it. Save a piece of the 4 inch exhaust for the 6637 filter too...
This picture is not my setup but one I used for instructional purposes...

Yah just use a piece of 4 inch exhaust piping and while your at it I suggest you do the 6637 air filter mod,
Nick
