Another High Idle question
I was just reading the post on Hight idle, before I got the D.P tuner while traveling i used to pull over into a rest area, crawl into the back seat, cover up, pillow and all and sleep for 3 or 4 hrs and let the truck IDLE! Even now that I have High ilde the only time I use it is on cold mornings. Should I be using it while at rest area's? All of the past idle time dosent seem to of hurt anything, but this was before I did the AH (intake heater) delete, Should I be using the high idle even on hot day's with the A/C on while in a rest area or the ball field watching the boys practice?

IMO i would idle it up..it helps keep amps up..helps push more heat/AC and keeps the flueds flowing..my oil is 40 psi at idle..high idle it is 50 psi..and it wont soot up as fast...
