Battery Goes Dead
i had sears batery in my van since 2005 two years it has three dead cells
the charging system i had check before i got this batery the chargeing sys
seems to be fine or this a chep batery

Take battery back to Sears. There should be a warranty if you have your receipt and have charging system re-checked.

I would see what they say. Last time I got a Sears battery I remember there being a warranty for a few years. Never had a problem with it though.

I learned this the hard way. had 14.3 volts, but couldn't figure out why battery would go dead every few days. Diodes were bad in alternator. Sears or Autozone should be able to tell you this. Was the battery load tested? If you go with pro-rated warranty you will pay some money, but not full price for battery which isn't so bad.

Most good battery testers tell you. If you don't have one, Autozone SHOULD be able to tell you as well as load test your battery.
