Can't tell from the VIN. It's either a light duty or a heavy duty. A HD will have a GVWR higher than 8500 lbs and a full floating rear axle with the hub sticking way out.
I don't know what you mean by a full floating axle, but the truck has big hubs sticking out (bigger than the front hubs) and helper springs that contact with a heavier load. Not sure of the GVWR.
Did you stop reading my post when you got to "full floating rear axle"? Right after that I said "with the hub sticking way out" and then you tell me how you have these big hubs sticking out.
lol.. its a good sign .. im not hauling heavy stuff of towing a house.. i mostly cruise and race .. havent got time to go to the track to chek the time yet.. nway i dont wanna hijack this post.. ignore this post
Don't worry about it.....Saves searching and/or posting the same question. I just got this chilton CD that had all thes warnings about making sure you unlocked the right vehicle or there was no turning back. After I got my answers, turned out that all F250's in this range were covered.
