SGROL- the pump itself is not different than any other 95GPH FASS pump. but the way that Jason has incorporated the CC-kit(return) and the new feed lines, and the fact that the pressure is regulated with a $2 orifice fitting vs. a $100 regulator.
Truly any one could run down to the hydraulic shop and buy the fittings and the lines, and even though I like to reverse engineer everything and build it my self after seeing a Kit, this offer(deal) just happened to come along at the right time.
Kris, It was not free, I had to pay cost of parts(wholesale) to Jason, and according to his Beta tester agreement I cannot disclose what I paid for it on the boards.

Thanks. In most FASS pumps pressure is regulated with a changeable spring within the pump unit. Does the orfice actually regulate the pressure or act as an air bleed like Kwik's setup.

thanks for that info, IDK but I will be on the phone to DPP later and ask him about the spring. I was under the impression that the orifice in the return line both created pressure and acted as an air bleed. I will research this and let you know.

The pressure is actually set by a calibrated spring in the pump itself. The Orifice only acts as the restriction to allow the pump to deveop the pressure. Then on top of that the orifice allows a small amount of circulation back to the tank, and as an air bleed. The orifice is located past the rails, so this system works as well as a regulated return but much more simplified.

OK. I didn't understand the beta test business. This system is just a modified regulated return with a damn good fuel pump. All pretty much old technology, as far as this site goes anyway.

Brandon- Glad to hear that it is all working well so far. Retail is going to be 699 for those without the CCK, and 649 for those with the CCK. Keep in mind when comparing to ITP’s kit at 550, that does not include a fuel bowl delete or upgraded pump. At least the last time I checked. In recent News for me though, On the Good side, my truck will be in an upcoming issue of Diesel World, bad news is My coolant wound up a gallon low, and my engine oil a gallon high, and white. So, once again the motor gets to come out. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
