I need some Fass help.

I just installed a 95/90 2014 55 psi fass unit because the stock pumps pressure was fading. The fass unit will only give me 22 psi and the secondary filter housing drains back to the tank.I triple checked the lines and all is correct so I am at a loss.My only thought is the stock pick up is plugged but that doesn't explain the drain back of fuel through the supply port in the secondary filter housing. Anyone know is there is a check valve in the stock pickup tube? Any ideas?

I think I figured it out. The fuel return on the fass is stuck open I hope.

does this model have the pressure spring like the 150/180's, and if it does, are you sure it's the right one?

try briefly pinching off th FASS return to see how it does...

That is exactly what I am going to try this morning.If I pinch it and get pressure I will open the port and check on the spring and ball.

So....After putting a ball valve on the fass return line I get fuel pressure, but I have to manually adjust it and also shut it after each shut down. The shop I bought it from Peak Diesel (highly recommend them) was stumped and put me in contact with Dan from fass,who is also stumped. They are sending me out a new ball and spring to see how that works.So much for a easy up grade.
