P1272 P0266

My buddies 97 is running rough. Now I know I should be in the OBS section. . . nothing wrong with that section but you guys are family
Anyway, it sounds like its missing a cylinder. . . or most of one. I pulled these two codes after a contribution test and a buzz test. P1272 states Cylinder #2 High to Low side open. English? During the buzz test the Number two injector is quite noticeably quieter. Contribution test gives the P0266 which states Cylinder 2 injector circuit contribution/balance fault.
Whats everybody thinkin? I'm thinking pull the valve cover and make sure the connection is good. . . and if it is then I'm thinking we just have a poor injector. However, I'm worried it could be in the IDM or somewhere else. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks guys! Oh and not to get all teary or nothing. . but I love you guys!

id say pull those VC off and check it out first before you go nuts. than change the ebps cause thats what gives you the reading of 53psi, did you ever check you tube if its cloged? mine was solid like rock inside.

Well I rented a drywall lift today from the depot and I got almost 2/3 of the ceiling done. I'm so excited about that. Now I have to move all the crap from one side to the other so i can use the lift
