Ct Emissions
The previous owner of my 85 f150 300 said that it failed emissions even the first time, but when he turned it off and then started it back up it finally passed. Mine is idling to high(I believe vacuum leak from the intake manifold) and it has no cat. There is no way it is going to pass. Any ideas of ways to get around the testing? I want to pull this emissions stuff of asap. I have a clifford intake just sitting on my work bench!

Are you still in CT? You gots to have a cat in CT. What year is the truck? in CT, AFTER
25 years onl there is no more emissions testing. the intake might just have to sit on the bench a little longer.
