My 1995 F150 with 3.08 rear end is rated at 145 hp (@3400 rpm). Most rear end ratios have a rating of 150 for this year. Torque is 265 ft lb @ 2000 rpm (260 for some rear end ratios). Not sure what year your truck is, but I think all the fuel injected 300s were about the same.
OK, I see you have a '93. Guess I have to repy with the message showing so I can remember everything. What is your rear end ratio and is it an auto or manual tranny?
If you want to really get into it, someone once posted this for me on the 300 I6 torque: 225@1000rpm, 255@1900, 260@2500, and 224@3400. HP = torque * RPM / 5252.
The Chilton manual for full sized Ford trucks, 1987-1993, says the '93 4.9L (300 I6) is 150 hp@3400 and 265 ft lb @ 2000. They do not footnote any differences for various trannies or rear end ratios. Manual also says the '93 has 8.8 to 1 compression ratio.
