I have a 2002 Expedition with 5.4 liter engine. Noticed the other night the engine started missing. You could really feel it when the vehicle was at low rpms under a load. The check engine light did not come on until a few days later while idling in a parking lot. The code is 352 but the engine is no longer missing. Anybody had this problem before?
Thanks Kailor for the reply. I guess I need to figure out if a dirty/faulty fuel injector can cause that code or if my PCM is getting ready to crap on me.
Please have codes pulled again. You should have an OBD II system on this truck. Your codes should be like P0123. If your code is P0352 it means the following:
P0351 Through P0360 - Ignition Coil A through J Primary/ Secondary Circuit Malfunction Each ignition primary circuit is continuously monitored. The test fails when the PCM does not receive a valid IDM pulse signal from the ignition module (integrated in PCM). Open or short in Ignition START/RUN circuit
Open coil driver circuit in harness
Coil driver circuit shorted to ground
Damaged coil
Damaged PCM
Coil driver circuit shorted to PWR
